Meet Lisa a 33-year-old unemployed sales women. She recently got engaged to her longtime boyfriend and the wedding is this summer. Everyone is excited about the celebration and looking forward to the special day. There’s just one thing missing, Lisa’s Grandmother Jane….
Jane passed away 8 years ago and Lisa lost her best friend. Lisa’s grandmother took her around the world and taught her many of life’s precious lessons. Not a day goes by that Lisa does not miss her grandmother.
Grandma Jane had a special ring that had been in her family for generations. Lisa always loved this ring and Jane promised she would pass the treasured ring down to Lisa on her wedding day. The stone featured in the ring was an authentic Columbian emerald given as a gift from the Muzo village people living in the Andean mountains of Columbia. According to family legend this stone brought peace, harmony and everlasting love to the relationship of whoever possessed it. After Jane’s passing the ring was lost and when it turned up the stone had mysteriously gone missing. If this sentimental and authentic emerald could be replaced in this cherished family heirloom, it would symbolize Grandma Jane fulfilling her final promise to her beloved grandchild on her most special day.
Due to Lisa’s financial hardship, time spent looking for work, and the dangerous conditions in Columbia, she is unable to make this dream a reality. The Journeyman intends to make this happen. Stay tuned for the adventure to Columbia!
